Working for Cures has a mission to advance medical innovation for better health and is the leading voice of the more than 900,000 direct employees of biopharmaceutical research companies and vaccine manufacturers across the United States. We advocate for policies and proposals that encourage the discovery of important, new medicines and expand access to treatments for patients.
Key U.S. public policy goals include:
- Protecting America’s world-leading research-based biopharmaceutical ecosystem and enabling the research and development of new cures, treatments and vaccines for all people
- Ensuring Americans have access to the treatments and cures that protect their health and improve their quality of life
- Fostering an environment for robust economic development and continuous creation of well-paying U.S. jobs with good benefits
- Investing in our communities and engaging in service efforts that strengthen our futures and bring greater health equity to the disadvantaged and underserved
